THPL is reviewing prospective project ranging from 105-150 MW in Nepal. We are considering following aspects in projects identifications.
- Optimum geological location with supreme technical specifications,
- High energy yield and attractive ROE
- Accessible transmission connectivity with central grid
- Power Purchase agreement(PPA) in US dollar.
Studies shows 83,000 MW of electricity generation possibility from Nepals' river, out of which 42,000 MW is economically viable projects. Nepal must generate 10,000 MW to fulfill domestic needs by 2025. THPL plans to develop 125-150 MW of electricity with the same time period in its Phase I and Phase II.
Tesla Hydropower will strive to develop mega projects of size beyond 500 MW in order to fulfill its mission objective to contribute in national economy through clean energy.
